At some point in life my anxiety bubbled up and I felt like I needed some kind of resolution within myself.

It became unbearable to go on with life the way it was.

Although the conflict appeared on the outside at the time, i realised very soon that it was mirroring what was going on internally.

I became aware that what i was fighting with was my imagination. I wanted situations in my life to be different from what they actually were.

I argued internally that they needed to change according to how i thought they should be, and I refused to accept what was since it did not match with what I wanted it to be.

Moreover, I realised that my mind was imagining those scenarios that should have happened. Since the reality and the scenarious were not matching, I could not accept it.

The moment I saw it, I became aware of my mind and my wanting for things to be different.

In that moment I let go of how I wanted it to be and as a result of this letting go, I experienced calm, peace and vastness within myself that became the space that grounded me.

I realised I was not my mind and that suffering comes from identification with mind.

My journey is continuing in discovering how to offer no resistance to what is.

I would like to walk with you and perhaps show you that you too, can experience peace with yourself if you offer no resistance to what is.

It involves relinquishing the grip of the ego, that voice inside us that clings to its desires, fears, and judgments. Trauma Informed Approach

Trauma is not necessarily a big event such as car crash, death or similar. It is any emotional, mental, or physical experience that puts us into the state of distress.

The smallest childhood disappointment may be a trauma for a child and can activate body mechanisms, that allow us to cope with the distress.

The coping mechanism is suppression of that memory or emotion because it cannot integrate with it’s current reality. It is so traumatic that it cannot be part of a personal narrative.

Often emotions get trapped and are seeking for completion in us. We are stuck in repetative behaviours, patterns.
